The basic steps of the Pedal Commander® installation are always the same regardless of the vehicle's make and model:

Turn off the ignition and wait 10-15 minutes with your driver's door open to allow your ECU to shut down.

Disconnect your accelerator pedal assembly plug, then plug in the heads to connectors on the Pedal Commander® harness.

Clean up the area where you want to mount the control unit with the alcohol wipe. Stick the bracket with the supplied velcro.

After you make sure the cables are secure and won't be tangled, you are ready to enjoy Pedal Commander®.

The Hyundai Palisade (2021) has a particularly bad accelerator response, especially trying to accelerate at low speed. You’ll start pushing on the gas pedal to get going and nothing happens. Push some more…nothing. Push a little more and it’ll drop 2 gears and accelerate like a demon. It’s aggravating to say the least. So.. I thought I’d see if the Pedal Commander would fix it as advertised. It most definitely does! You have to play around with the settings to get the response you want. For me, the City +4 setting was very responsive. Maybe too responsive, as my wife hated it. Sport and Sport + something I wouldn’t even play with, unless you want smoke your tires off every traffic light. City -2 seems to give this car decent response and acceleration. Download the Pedal Commander app on your phone if you want to experiment with settings while on the fly. I tucked the plug-in gizmo behind the center console, next to the gas pedal so it was out of sight, so the app was a huge help. Definitely worth the money!
